As per the information given by the Indian Army, Pakistan started heavy firing on the LoC at 4.30 hours on Tuesday. Pakistan military launched mortar attacks in the Mankot sector of the Poonch district, which caused damages to the residential areas. No casualties were reported as the residents from the villages close to the LoC had already been moved. Thereafter, Pakistan once again violated the ceasefire, with firing in the Krishna Ghati and Rajouri areas of Poonch district, on Tuesday in the evening. The Indian Army soldiers gave a fitting reply to the Pakistani firing in Mankot Sector, Krishan Ghati and Rajouri.

The intensity of the Pakistan attacks on the LoC has been increased, since the last few days. The Indian Army informed that Pakistan violated ceasefire on 45 occasions, in this month alone. There is an Indian retaliation for the Pakistani violation and it is claimed that Pakistan has suffered major losses in these exchanges. At the same time, information is being received that the Pakistani military and terrorist bases, in the Neelam Valley of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, also have suffered massive losses. But Pakistan military is not willing to reveal more information regarding this.

Along with retaliation against the Pakistani activities, the Indian Army has also initiated actions in the Kashmir Valley. Faisal Ahmed, a terrorist from Lashkar-e-Taiba, was arrested in a joint action carried out by the Army, paramilitary forces and Jammu-Kashmir police, on Monday. The security forces informed that Faisal had joined Lashkar, only two weeks ago. The Indian military has also launched a search operation in the Anantnag district. There is terrorist hiding in the Sangam village, who had opened fire on the Indian soldiers.

Meanwhile, reports had been received, a few days ago, that the notorious Pakistani intelligence agency ISI has taken Jaish-e-Mohammed into its fold, to carry out saboteur activities in Kashmir. It is claimed that the Pakistani ceasefire violation is only to try and provide cover, for the infiltration attempts of these terrorists. But the Indian military is giving a fitting reply to the Pakistani firing. At the same time, the action is being taken against the terrorists and their sympathisers from Kashmir.
