The Ohio train accident will become US's new Chernobyl

Beijing: The US, which vociferates in the name of spy balloons, has been ignoring the train accident in Ohio in its own country. Due to this, toxic chemicals have been mixed in the nearby river, and the locals could face dire consequences for the next 20 years. Moreover, this crash could become US’s Chernobyl. But the US and Western media have been conveniently turning a blind eye to it, criticising the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

On February 3, a freight train loaded with toxic chemicals travelled through East Palestine of Ohio province. Out of 150 coaches on this train, nearly 50 coaches derailed. The vinyl chloride in five of these coaches mixed with air and caused a huge explosion. This inflammable chemical caused a flare-up within a few minutes and sent its tremors very far away.

Furthermore, the train crew tried their best to control the fire. But due to the intensity of the explosion, they failed. Hence, the toxic fumes have been claimed to spread in the surrounding cities for the next few hours. On the second day of this accident, the local system issued an alert for the citizens. In addition, the US authorities had suggested the locals stay away from the accident site for at least four days.

Besides, the US system claims that the chemicals mixed in the river or air due to this accident were not dangerous at all. But the locals had complained that the smell of these chemicals had started giving them headaches. Meanwhile, China’s Foreign Ministry has accused the US and Western media of trying to cover up the Ohio train accident and its consequences. Moreover, China has warned that this accident can become Chernobyl for the United States, and the US people may suffer the consequences for the next 20 years.

Meanwhile, in 1986, there was a terrible leak in the fourth reactor of the then-Soviet Russia’s Chernobyl nuclear power plant. At least 50 people were killed due to this. But it has been claimed that nuclear leakage is still happening in this area and can affect the body.
