On the condition of anonymity, an Israeli air force official shared the information regarding this cooperation between Israel and the Arab countries while speaking to a local daily. The official said that Israel might form a front with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Bahrain regarding the air defence systems. Israel has discussed this issue with these Arab countries during the Negev summit. At the same time, Israel cited the success achieved against the aerial attacks originating from Syria.

Israeli air force chief General Major Amikam Norkin is making efforts in that direction. The official claimed that if this agreement is signed between Israel and Arab countries, the air defence of these countries will be stronger than ever before. The Israeli official said that some of these Arab countries are close to Iran and Iraq, which will facilitate early detection of Iranian attacks.

Neither Israel nor the Arab countries participating in the Negev summit have reacted to the report. But reports of Israel and its neighbouring countries building an anti-drone front have been received even in the past. It is also claimed that UAE and Bahrain are considering the purchase of air defence systems from Israel. Information had been received, that discussions were held over super-advanced Israeli air defence systems.
