Indore: Artificial intelligence, blockchain technology and cloud computing have become the ABCs of the world’s future. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that this technology would be very important in the future and Indians can lead the world on this front. Thakur delivered this message while addressing the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas ceremony organised in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Besides, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said that Indian youth living abroad have more new opportunities than before.

In 2022, India overtook the country that once ruled us to become the fifth-largest economy. Thakur expressed his belief that India can lead the world on the strength of its youth power in the future. By stating that artificial intelligence, blockchain technology and cloud computing have become the ABCs of the future, he claimed that Indian youth have the potential to lead the world on this front.

Furthermore, India’s huge population and the inclusion of more than 60% of youth in this population make it a big deal. This youth power has the potential to take the country rapidly on the path of progress. Besides, these efficient young people have made India the world’s third-largest country on the startup front. Currently, more than 80 thousand startups have been working in the country. Anurag Thakur admirably mentioned that while the whole world struggled with the Coronavirus crisis, Indian youth strived to transform their startups into unicorns, i.e. turning them into companies with a turnover of one billion dollars.

On this occasion, Anurag Thakur also made aware that some youngsters have been trying to make India a technical powerhouse, and India has the strategic advantages of this. Besides, speaking at the event, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar claimed that Indian youth living abroad have much bigger opportunities than before. Moreover, Indians living abroad have been the most talented. Also, it has become a distinctive affair that the Indian community abroad has been firmly connected with our country. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said this was a two-way road, and Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas underlines the subject.
