Islamabad: – ‘With inflation breaking all previous records, how long do you expect Imran Khan PTI that we government official will remain silent & keep working for you without been paid for past three months & our children been forced out of school due to nonpayment of fees Is this Naya Pakistan?’, this message was published on the social media account of the Pakistani embassy in Serbia. In his election campaign three years ago, Imran Khan showed the people of Pakistan the dream of a ‘Naya Pakistan’ (new Pakistan). But after coming to power in Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government has been widely criticized in Pakistan for disappointing the people. Under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government, Pakistan has borrowed heavily from international financial institutions and allies, and the Pakistani people are bearing the burden.

Pakistan’s inflation index rose to 11.5 per cent in November. It is alleged that the terms agreed by Imran Khan last month to repay a loan taken from Saudi Arabia and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) would bring economic hardship to Pakistan. After these conditions came to light, Pakistan’s stock market fell by 2,000 points. The repercussions of this are being felt in Pakistan and the demand for the resignation of Imran Khan as Prime Minister is gaining momentum.

Leaders of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government and party leaders have started speaking against the government. There were also reports that some ministers and party leaders were in touch with the opposition. Prime Minister Imran Khan is worried that his party leaders will revolt against him. Therefore, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has banned his ministers from travelling abroad. But this does not hide Pakistan’s economic woes. The Serbian embassy’s post on social media has exposed Pakistan’s poverty to the world.
