France eager to welcome Indian PM as Bastille Day parade chief guest – French President Macron  

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend France’s ‘Bastille Day’ parade. It is claimed that the invitation received from France to the Prime Minister of India for this operation is to enhance the prestige of India. Analysts say that this will further strengthen the relations between the two countries. French President Emmanuel Macron has said he is looking forward to welcoming the Indian Prime Minister for this military exercise on July 14.

Bastille DayA few days ago, French President Macron visited China. During the visit, it was clear that Macron had discussed with China to stop the battle in Ukraine. The President of France announced that China has a great influence on Russia and is trying to use it to prevent the conflict in Ukraine. China has increased its influence in the Middle East by reconciling Saudi Arabia and Iran. After that, the question was asked whether China, with the help of France, would increase its influence in world politics by stopping the conflict in Ukraine. 

Against this background, it was revealed that the President of France had invited the Prime Minister of India to the Bastille Day Parade. This military operation is considered the most important for France, reminiscent of the French Revolution. Also, the Prime Minister of India is being invited as the chief guest for the second time. In 2009, then-Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh attended this military operation in France. 

Meanwhile, the French Embassy in India warmly welcomed the fact that Prime Minister Modi will attend the Bastille Day celebrations. The Embassy of France said that France and India will celebrate Bastille Day together and this will promote freedom, equality and fraternity. Meanwhile, the Indian Army will also participate in this military operation. The French embassy also claimed that this underlines the defence cooperation between the two countries. 

Earlier, the French Ambassador to India had said that their country was cooperating on the diplomatic front to stop the conflict in Ukraine with the help of India.
