Israel-UAE relation achieves key milestone; Emirates to start Daily Service to Tel Aviv

Dubai – The internationally renowned Emirates Airlines from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will soon launch flights to Tel Aviv, Israel. Emirates announced daily services would be started between Dubai and Tel Aviv from December 6. A few weeks ago, the UAE-based Etihad started flights from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv. The air service between Israel and the UAE is an important milestone in the cooperation between the two countries, established a year ago.

The service will start on December 6 at noon. The Emirates flight leaving Dubai will return from Tel Aviv to Dubai before midnight. This service will be provided daily. This will directly connect Israeli travellers to about 30 destinations in the United States, India, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, and South Africa, which have Jewish populations, said Emirates.

At the same time, Emirates is preparing to launch the ‘Sky Cargo’ service with passenger airlines. This will result in the export of pharmaceuticals, high-quality products, vegetables and other perishables from Tel Aviv to Israel, claimed the Emirates company. This is a big announcement for the leading airline in UAE. Emirates has become the third airline company in the UAE to launch air services with Israel.

The Israeli company, Arkia had also started daily flights to the UAE. It was reported late last month that a Saudi private plane had landed in Israel. Israeli leaders have expressed satisfaction that the Abraham agreement brings Israel and the Middle East countries closer together.
