Karachi: The suicide attack carried out by the Baloch rebels in the Karachi University and the warnings issued after that have spread panic among the Chinese citizens in Pakistan. Reports are being received that many Chinese citizens are leaving Pakistan. Three Chinese citizens were killed in a suicide attack in Karachi. After that, the Chinese government asked the Pakistan government and military to double the security of Chinese nationals. But it is being revealed that the Chinese citizens are unwilling to stay in Pakistan, given the threats issued by the Baloch rebels. This comes as a significant jolt for China having investments worth billions of dollars in Pakistan.

Some analysts in Pakistan are expressing concerns that China is treating Pakistan like a slave. These analysts expressed fears that if China launched airstrikes on the Baloch rebels, any country would forward the excuse of terrorism and launch attacks on Pakistan territory.

China has invested billions of dollars in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The major implementation of this project is in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. But the Baloch rebels are accusing China is looting the natural resources from Baluchistan under the disguise of CPEC. The attacks on the Chinese nationals were restricted only to the Balochistan province. But the attack in Karachi has increased the worries for China.
