Jammu-Kashmir-2 For the last 60 years, Jammu-Kashmir enjoyed a special status, as per article 370, of the Indian constitution. But on the 5th of August 2019, an important decision, to abrogate this article, was taken. This decision completed one year and requisite security has been provided in the state, to ensure that there are no untoward incidents.

A Sarpanch was injured in an attack launched by the terrorists, in Kulgam. He has been admitted to the hospital. A terror attack was also reported from Pulwama. Two policemen were injured in a grenade attack, carried out by the terrorists, on the ‘Special Operations Group’. Officials informed that the injured policemen are in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, Changes are apparent in Jammu-Kashmir and development works have been expedited. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar informed through a tweet that processes for Law enforcement, social justice and empowerment of the weaker sections have been initiated. The stone-pelting incidents also have reduced following the abrogation of Article 370. The situation in Jammu-Kashmir is slowly normalising.

But Pakistan apparently cannot bear this and is making consistent efforts to create disturbances. Pakistan is assisting terrorists in infiltrating into India. But the infiltration attempts of these terrorists are being busted. The security forces have gunned down more than 150 terrorists in this year.
