Balochistan leaders raise ‘Jai Hind’ slogan

national-flagNew Delhi : Pakistan received a severe jolt as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to ‘PoK’ and ‘Balochistan’ in his Independence day address from Red Fort. Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and Lt. General Amir Riaz are urging Baloch leaders, who currently are outside the country tore turn back. Whereas Baloch leaders have thanked Indian the Prime Minister for the gesture of taking up Balochistan issue and have expressed their gratitude by saying ‘Jai Hind’.

Brahumdagh Bugti, grandson of popular Baloch leader Akbar Bugti, Baloch leader working for independence of Balochistan has thanked PM Modi. Bugti has urged India to work for independence of Balochistan in same way,as it had for Bangladesh. Bugti has questioned international fraternity as to why the atrocities in Balochistan are overlooked when similar situation in Syria and Libya had drawn considerable attention from all over. Bugti has condemned Pakistan for its wrong doings on the people of Balochistan. Ashraf Sherjan from ‘Baloch Republican Party’ has also thanked Modi as well as the Indian media for taking up Balochistan issue. He also expressed his gratitude by raising the slogan ‘Jai Hind’.

Mehran Marri, Baloch Leader said that PM Modi has increased hopes for Baloch natives by raising the issue of Balochistan. He said that this gesture reminds Baloch people that they are not forgotten. Marri also, while saying ‘Jai Hind’ expressed confidence that very soon Balochistan would celebrate its Independece day along-with India. Meanwhile Baloch Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri has denied allegations of any such situation in Balochistan. He along with Lt. General Amir Riaz has urged self-exiled Baloch leaders to return back and take part in the political events of the country.

CM Zehri had earlier also made an absurd comment that Balochistan has been a part of Pakistan for the last 500 years. Baloch leaders, who were till date being called traitors, being asked to return back to their country itself shows the increased pressure on Pakistan. Sartaj Aziz, advisor to Pakistan’s Prime Minister has made a statement saying that Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and issue of Balochistan cannot be compared with that of Kashmir. He further added that India, by taking up Balochistan issue wants to divert attention of the International community away from Kashmir.
