Pakistan is said to have become uncomfortable with this. Because there have been claims that Pakistan is providing assistance to Ukraine against Russia in Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, with this information coming to light, Pakistan is concerned that the Indian National Security Advisor is visiting Russia and plotting a strategy against Pakistan.
A few days ago, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Great Britain. General Bajwa also visited Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. When Pakistan’s condition has worsened, General Bajwa’s reception in these countries was noticeable. General Bajwa is now preparing to visit the US. Before that, General Bajwa had spoken to US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman over the phone to seek International Monetary Fund assistance for Pakistan. At the international level, there seems to be a different reason behind this sudden response Pakistan’s army chief is getting.
British Royal Air Force aircraft fly from Pakistan’s Nur Khan airbase and reach Saudi Arabia-Egypt to Cyprus via Oman, avoiding the airspace of Afghanistan and Iran. British Air Force planes enter Romania from Cyprus. The materials and weapons brought by these planes for the Ukrainian army are brought to Ukraine from Romania. Between August 6 and 15, British Air Force planes were constantly flying from Pakistan’s Nur Khan airbase, according to a website that provides information on passenger aircraft flights.
If this information is true, it means that Pakistan has decided to side with Ukraine in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Pakistan may have been forced to take this decision due to the pressure from the United States and Western countries or to resolve the economic crisis. But some people in this country have expressed concern that Pakistan may have to suffer terrible consequences of this in the future. Against this backdrop, India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is on a visit to Russia. There are indications that Pakistan is looking at this visit very cautiously.
Pakistan is assisting Ukraine and India will definitely take advantage of this. Some Pakistani analysts, who are active on social media, have expressed concerns that Ajit Doval will strategize against Pakistan during his visit to Russia and an angry Russia will support him. Earlier, Pakistan had acted as an agent of the United States in the war against Soviet Russia in Afghanistan. After that, Pakistan supported the United States in the war against terrorism in Afghanistan, albeit reluctantly. But after the end of these two wars, the United States completely ignored Pakistan. The situation is unlikely to be much different after Pakistan’s utility in the Ukraine war ends. Despite this, Pakistan, which is currently reeling under the financial crisis, is forced to allow itself to be used to assist Ukraine due to the pressure from the United States and Western countries.
This will infuse life into Pakistan’s economy for some time. But in the future, Pakistan’s decision to go against a powerful country like Russia will have disastrous consequences. Hence, Pakistan seems to be upset with the visit of India’s National Security Advisor to Russia.
