328 new Coronavirus cases in Maharashtra, Mumbai reports an additional 184 new cases  

Mumbai: The number of Coronavirus cases is increasing in the state and 11 deaths and 328 new cases were reported on Saturday. Mumbai recorded the highest number of cases, since the onset of the pandemic. On Saturday, 184 new cases were reported from Mumbai. The number of cases, in the state, was showing a decline since the last two days. But the concerns increased once again, after this big addition on Saturday.

The number of cases in the state has reached 3,648. The maximum number of cases have been reported from Mumbai and Pune. Mumbai reported 184 and Pune reported 74 new cases. These include 16 cases from Dharavi, the newly developing Coronavirus Hot Spot, in Mumbai. One more case was reported from Dadar area. Maximum cases have been reported from 8 wards in Mumbai. The number of cases in the Thane district also is increasing. 11 cases were reported from Mira-Bhayandar, 7 from Palghar, 6 from Thane city and 3 from Bhivandi. There was an addition of 5 new cases in the Raigad district.   

Meanwhile, the government has indicated that factories in certain areas may be allowed to start. But it will be mandatory to adhere strictly, to the regulations. Whereas, the areas becoming Hot Spots will be monitored more strictly.
