Three Pakistani soldiers killed in Indian counterstrike

Srinagar: Four Pakistani posts were destroyed and three to four Pakistani soldiers were killed, in the counterstrike by India, on the Line of Control, in the Poonch sector of Kashmir. The Pakistan military also accepted that the Indian military is launching fierce attacks. But Pakistan said that one soldier and six civilians were killed in the attack. The Pakistan foreign ministry issued a summons to the Indian diplomats, regarding the matter.

The Pakistan military started firing and mortar shelling. In the Indian retaliation, three to four Pakistani soldiers were killed and four to five soldiers were injured. The Indian army also destroyed four Pakistani posts. The Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) of Pakistan, made a fuss that the Indian military was targeting ordinary Pakistani civilians with firing and mortars. Pakistan foreign ministry has issued a summons to the Indian diplomats in the matter.

The tension on the Line of Control in Kashmir has increased tremendously, since the last few days. Since January, this year, there have been 1,500 episodes of cross-border firing from the Pakistani side, violating the ceasefire. The frustrated Pakistan military is trying to assist terrorists in infiltrating into India, under cover of this firing. But the Indian army has thwarted all their efforts.
