Task Force to tackle Wuhan Coronavirus, third patient found in Kerala

New Delhi: The third patient of Wuhan Coronavirus has been found in the state of Kerala. Additional cases were found in the people returning from China, and the Indian government has announced the formation of a ‘Task Force’ to tackle the menace of the epidemic. Minister of State for Home, G. Kishan Reddy, has informed that this Task Force will have representation from various government departments.

The new Task Force will have representation from the Health, Home, Civil Aviation, women and child development departments. Union Minister of State for Home, G. Kishan Reddy, informed that the first meeting of the Task Force would be held on Monday. Union Minister of State for Home clarified that the Task Force would make the decisions regarding what preventive measures need to be taken to contain the Wuhan Coronavirus epidemic.

Meanwhile, the third patient of the epidemic was found on Sunday. The measures against the outbreak have been made more intense, following this. Karnataka, especially, has initiated preventive measures and other states also have issued warnings for caution in this matter. West Bengal, Mizoram and some north-eastern states have installed thermal scanners at the airports to examine passengers.
