But on Monday, the information about the terrorist’s arrest and the video of his confession was released by the public relations department of the FSB. The terrorist is a resident of a Central Asian country. But he was brainwashed through social media. After he was prepared for a suicide attack, he met an IS leader in the Turkish city of Istanbul. The FSB said that he was instructed to leave Turkey and go to Russia.

The terrorist was in Turkey from April to June 2022. Then he came to Russia. Here, he was going to be provided with the necessary documents to enter India. He was assigned the task of entering India and assassinating a leader from the ruling party. Russia’s FSB has not disclosed all the details about this. But the arrest of this terrorist has exposed a terrible conspiracy. IS is an international terrorist organisation. Besides, it has shown its ability to carry out attacks across the world. In its early days, IS, operational in Iraq and Syria, had attacked Europe.

On the strength of its radical and toxic propaganda, this terrorist organization creates ‘Lone Wolf,’ i.e. terrorists operating alone around the world. It is claimed that it is becoming difficult even for the intelligence agencies of advanced countries to trace them. India has banned IS. However, it was revealed that the IS is making massive efforts to spread radicalization among the Indian youth by misusing the internet and social media. But analysts say that this has not received a large response. In such a situation, this terrible conspiracy plotted by IS against India is a wake-up call for the security agencies.
