Moscow: While the entire world is focused on the Ukraine conflict, an espionage racket has been exposed in Russia. It has been exposed that Russian ally China is involved in the espionage racket. Russian agencies have detained a scientist supplying confidential information regarding laser technology to the Chinese intelligence agency. Whereas, a few hours ago, the Russian agencies arrested another researcher smuggling hypersonic technology.
There have been suspicious developments in Russia in the last few days. Incidents of explosions or fires are being reported from ultrasensitive Russian locations. At the same time, the Russian security agencies have started a campaign to arrest foreign spies and agents. Reports of actions against those involved in internal rebellions are also being received. It is claimed that the western countries are trying to perpetrate a rebellion in Russia against the background of the Ukraine conflict. In the process, Chinese spies are also being arrested.
The Russian intelligence agency FSB arrested Dmitry Kolker from the Siberia province. A professor of physics and maths at Novosibirsk University, Kolker was known as a researcher in laser technology. Russian agencies have charged Kolker with treason. Russia has accused Kolker of smuggling military technologies to the Chinese security agency. Kolker has been arrested and kept in the Lefortovo prison. But Kolker died in suspicious circumstances a few hours ago. The cause of death is not known.
Russian security agencies have also arrested Anatoly Maslov, a close associate of Kolker. Russia has accused Maslov, a researcher in hypersonic technology, and Kolker of smuggling military technologies to China. Maslov also has been kept in the Lefortovo prison. A major espionage racket has been exposed in Russia over the last few months.
In August last year, Alexander Kuranov, Director of the Hypersonic Research Laboratory, was arrested under treason charges. Kuranov was accused of supplying sensitive information to the United States. Whereas, in April, Valery Golubkin and Anatoly Gurbanov were detained. Both were charged with smuggling military technology. But Russia has initiated a campaign against the Chinese spies and agents in the last few weeks. China has even earlier duplicated Russian technology to perfection.
