Iran strongly supports Russia over the Ukraine issue

Tehran: Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei justified the Russian invasion of Ukraine, claiming that if a way to attack Russia were open, NATO would not have stopped due to any limits or borders. He further added that had Russia not attacked Ukraine. The western coalition would have declared a war against Russia. Khamenei accused that the western countries are responsible for the suffering of the Ukrainian people.
