New Delhi: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval appealed that some people are trying to spread hostility in the country under the name of religion. This is detrimental to the entire country and its repercussions are being felt even at the international level. We cannot bear this being a mute spectator. Followers of every religion need to unite to oppose this and it should be emphasised that all these people are a part of this country.

Ajit Doval gave the message that it is necessary to make a firm resolve that the unity of the country will not be allowed to be threatened under any circumstances. It needs to be imbibed on everyone’s minds that every citizen is safe in this country. In this scenario, all should confront extremism by coming together, making their voices loud and correcting past mistakes. The nation’s loss is a loss for everyone; therefore, everyone should work towards securing the country.

Every religion has contributed to the development of the country. It is everyone’s responsibility to make efforts to improve the environment in the country. Saying that ‘Everyone should think about what India will we be handing over to the next generations?’ the NSA appealed to the religious leaders present at the function. At this time, Doval said that the religious leaders are influential and they carry huge responsibility on their shoulders.

Meanwhile, the NSA also pointed out that everyone must reach out to everyone in the fight against extremism and hatred. Besides, everyone must be included in this fight. Everyone must be convinced that this country has no place for religious hatred.
