India-UK concur against terrorism

New Delhi: Indian and British Prime Ministers agreed on adopting a firm stand against terrorism of all kinds and not to tolerate terrorism. This firm stand adopted against terrorism during the visit of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to India became the tour’s highlight. Prime Ministers of both the countries also agreed to form a joint Indian and British Task Force against terrorism.

India-UK concur against terrorismThe British stand is clear about not tolerating terrorism and extremism against India. During the joint press conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prime Minister Johnson said there is consensus over this in the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Johnson also informed that the United Kingdom would be forming a joint task force against terrorism and extremism with India. The British Prime Minister expressed confidence that India will be benefited from this.

The British Prime Minister claimed that not only terrorism, India and the United Kingdom would be adopting a firm stand also against assistance and encouragement in any form to the terrorists and the safe havens of terrorists. The joint statement issued by Prime Minister Johnson and Prime Minister Modi denounced the 26/11 Mumbai attack and the attack on the air force base in Pathankot in strong words.

This is a warning against the pro-terrorism policies of Pakistan. Saying that India is a country far away from dictatorship and everyone in the country is protected by the constitution, Prime Minister Johnson praised India as a great democratic country.
