India is fully capable to overcome all kinds of internal and external challenges: PM Narendra Modi

Kevadia – Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi addressed the nation through a video message on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which is also celebrated as Rashtriya Ekata Diwas (National Unity Day). PM Modi said that Sardar Patel desired a strong, inclusive, sensitive, vigilant, humble, and developed India. Sardar Patel always gave importance to national interests. Prime Minister Modi expressed satisfaction that inspired from Sardar Patel’s vision, India today is fully capable of overcoming any kinds of internal and external challenges.

PM Modi reminded the nation that such collective and unified efforts could help the country achieve new heights. He recollected Sardar Patel’s views on emphasising the importance of national unity. The Prime Minister added that be it Jammu-Kashmir or northeastern states or a village in the Himalayas, everyone is headed in the direction of development. In the last seven years, the country has got freedom from pre-dated laws. At the same time, India is on a path of creating a new high in national integration and unity. Modern infrastructure development projects are reducing the geographical and cultural gap in the country.’

The Prime Minister mentioned that currently, the country is going through a transformation to create social and economic integration. India’s potential and goals for significant elevated to achieve progress on land, water, air, and space. The country is committed to self-reliance to protect its interests. Making the country self-reliant in all aspects should be an inspiration for everyone.

Meanwhile, over the past few weeks, the political leadership and defence officials have repeatedly expressed confidence in the country’s defence capabilities. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently said that India is a peace-loving country, but India will stand up to any challenge if provoked. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has warned that India will again carry out surgical strikes inside Pakistan if necessary. India had demonstrated its capabilities to the world by testing the Agni-5 intercontinental ballistic missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads. All this is meant to alert countries like China and Pakistan, posing challenges to Indian security.

Pakistan has launched a new spate of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, China is plotting to pressure India by launching aggressive military operations in the areas near the Line of Actual Control. The actions of both the neighbouring countries pose new challenges to Indian security. In such a scenario, India is giving stern warnings to China as well as Pakistan. Western media claim that by testing the Agni-5 Missile, India has fired warning shots at China, as the latest test brings China’s entire geography within the range of Indian missiles. Western media has warned China to take notice of the Indian capabilities before they carry out any anti-India operations.

Against this backdrop, Prime Minister Modi, who is on a tour of Europe for the G20 summit, underlined India’s strength through his video message on National Unity Day. It seems that the Prime Minister has once again made it clear that India will not tolerate any misadventures in the coming times.
