Armed protesters will overthrow regime in Iran

London/Tehran: For the past month and a half, the protesters protesting against the hijab compulsion in Iran have armed themselves. They have been snatching weapons from the soldiers of Iran’s Basij militia. Protesters in Iran have also been smuggling weapons from Kurdish groups in Iraq. The protestors deliver a message that they can not only protest but also fight the Revolutionary Guards. Former US National Security Adviser John Bolton sensationally claimed that this has made the regime in Iran vulnerable.

In an interview with the London-based Persian news channel, John Bolton gave remarkable information about the developments in Iran. Bolton said that the Iranian protesters have armed themselves and taken steps against the rule of Ayatollah Khamenei. Not only by the demonstration, but the protesters are also ready to use weapons against the Iranian regime if the time comes, he added. Former US National Security Adviser claimed protesters had snatched weapons from the Basij militia, which took action against Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.

Bolton further said that groups in Iraq’s Kurdistan province smuggled weapons to anti-government groups in Iran. But a British journalist of Iranian descent who interviewed Bolton dismissed claims that protesters were being armed. This woman journalist claimed that there was no evidence in this regard. On this, Bolton cited photographs, videos and information published in social media. Bolton recalled that protesters in Iran attacked the Basij militia and disarmed them. Bolton also warned that the people of Kurdistan would not tolerate the oppression of the Iranian regime.

Bolton expressed his belief that if the protests in Iran continue like this, the regime in this country will change soon. For this, the Former National Security Adviser of the US recalled the protests that erupted in Iran earlier. Bolton claimed that the protesters warned the Iranian regime by arming themselves.
