Air Force closely monitoring Chinese Air Force activities - Air Chief Marshal V. R. ChaudhariThe talks between senior military officials of India and China began at 9.30 am on Sunday. While the details of the talks are yet to be revealed, India seems to be sticking to its demand that China withdraws from the area near the LAC in Ladakh. Indications are that China will make all the possible efforts to sidestep India’s demand this time as well. A few months ago, the then Chief of Army Staff of India, General Manoj Mukund Naravane, accused China of dishonesty by saying that China was not serious about resolving the border dispute. India is experiencing this all the time.

Before the LAC talks began, there were reports of a Chinese Air Force aircraft flying over the area near the LAC in Ladakh. But the Air Force took immediate action and forced the Chinese aircraft to withdraw immediately. Now the Air Force Chief has made a statement about this in an interview and has confirmed the news that China has done these provocative activities. The Air Force is closely monitoring the Chinese Air Force’s movements. Air Chief Marshal Choudhari said that if Chinese aircraft or drones fly from the area near LAC, the Air Force will immediately take necessary action against them.

After the conflict in Galwan in 2020, the Air Force has deployed radar systems in the Ladakh region and the Air Force has greatly increased its capabilities in this region. The Air Force’s deployment also includes surface-to-air strike systems. Also, the Air Force has set up new posts for observation in this area. Also, the Air Force Chief explained that necessary information is provided to the Air Force from time to time by the country’s Army and other agencies.

China’s Air Force has started using grey zone warfare against Taiwan. According to this, China’s air force repeatedly intrudes into Taiwan’s territory and tests Taiwan’s air security. China is said to have planned through this grey zone warfare to invade Taiwan, get Taiwan exhausted, and launch a decisive attack one day. China is also trying to use similar tactics against India, but in the Ladakh region, the Indian Air Force is in a much stronger position than the Chinese Air Force. Neutral analysts in the West only reported this conclusion after the Galwan conflict. China then increased its air force capabilities in the Tibetan area near Ladakh. China is making another attempt to put pressure on India through this. But the statements made by the Air Force Chief are sending a message that India will not succumb to this pressure technique of China.
