Besides, over the past 24 hours, the military alliance of Saudi Arabia and its Arab allies carried out major operations in Yemen. The Arab army alliance announced that it had launched airstrikes on the hidden bases of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in Yemen and Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group. These included the al Dulaimi military airbase in the capital Sanaa, the arsenal, and locations in Sa’dah, Dhamar and Al Jawf provinces.

However, not all details of the airstrikes have been released. But Saudi and Arab countries are claimed to have sent a strong message by targeting Iran’s interests in Yemen. In addition, Arab military forces have launched heavy attacks on Houthi rebel strongholds in Marib and Al Jawf. The Arab military says more than 200 Houthi rebels have been killed in these attacks.

Houthi rebels refrained from disclosing information about Thursday’s attack. But according to a Houthi-affiliated news channel, Arab planes attacked the northern and southern parts of the capital, Sanaa. A few hours before this attack, Houthi rebels launched a drone attack on Saudi’s Abha International Airport. Saudi systems foiled the attack. But the news channel said attacks by Arab countries have intensified since then.

Saudi and Arab armies are reportedly launching heavy attacks on Houthi rebels to gain control of the fuel-rich Marib province. Arab countries claim to have caused heavy casualties to the Houthis in the attacks. The Houthis have not commented so far. But sources close to the Houthi group said 14,700 rebels have been killed since June. This is claimed to be a significant blow to Iran, which supports the Houthis.
