Even so, China has maintained its story and has begun an outcry against the US, saying the balloon was shot down by the US using excessive force. At the same time, China has claimed that the United States has often sent balloons across China’s borders.

A few days ago, Chinese officials and state media said that the US had sent balloons into China’s territory. On Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wenbin officially accused the US of sending the balloons. ‘There have been incidents of US balloons being found in China’s territory since May last year. The US balloons were seen almost ten times in Xinjiang and Tibet provinces of China. China handled the matter calmly without fuss,” said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin.

At this time, the spokesperson also blamed the US, saying it had illegally sent its balloons to the Chinese territory without informing China. At this time, China also demanded that the US explain this. The Chinese spokesperson also clarified that China would give a suitable reply on this issue. The US had categorically rejected the allegations made by China earlier. However, there are indications that the matter will further aggravate the tensions between the two countries due to the new claims made by China.

Meanwhile, Japan also claimed suspicious Chinese balloons were spotted in its airspace between 2019 and 2021. The Ministry of Defense of Japan has released a statement in this regard. In it, the balloons are mentioned as ‘Balloon Shaped Flying Objects’. The Ministry of Defense of Japan said that the Chinese regime has also been intimated in this regard. But these claims of Japan have been rejected by China.
