Make laws similar to US against China showering atrocities on Tibetans,

Washington: Chinese diplomats can roam freely in any country. By raising the question, ‘How can China deny the same rights to the diplomats of other countries?’, US diplomats have demanded that China has to allow entry for the US and other diplomats into Tibet. At the same time, the US diplomats made a crushing accusation that Buddhists in Tibet, Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang and Christians in China are facing atrocities. The US diplomats appealed that the other countries also should make laws to stop this China.

Robert A. Destro, the special US representative for Tibet, read out the list of Chinese atrocities against the Tibetan people. China denied entry to the US diplomats into Tibet. After that, US President Donald Trump rocked China by getting a law passed against China. President Trump delivered a slap to China by denying entry to the Chinese diplomats, refusing entry to the US officials in Tibet into the United States.

Destro demanded that the other democratic countries also should make such laws, following the footsteps of the United States. China is oppressing the minorities in that country. China is implementing a dangerous policy to eradicate Tibetan culture and language. China also wants the right to decide the successor for religious leader Dalai Lama. Destro made crushing criticism that China is taking aggressive steps to destroy the peculiar Tibetan culture by tying it up in the framework of the Chinese communist party.

This Chinese oppression is not limited to Tibet. Destro accused that other communities are also a victim of these oppressive Chinese policies. The Uyghur Muslims are also facing inordinate atrocities at the hands of the Chinese communist regime. This community is denied religious freedom. Similarly, even the Christians are facing injustice in China. Destro accused that this is because China is imposing favourable policies on the Christian community.

The Chinese government believes that faith in anything other than the ruling Chinese communist party is a threat to the country. Destro fired rounds of criticism saying that therefore, China has started this campaign to strike down the religious beliefs. At the same time, Destro earnestly presented the need for the democratic countries to unite to stop these Chinese atrocities. Destro also reminded that the condition of the people opposing the Chinese communist party and exposing information regarding the Coronavirus pandemic is perilous in China.

Since the last few months, the United States is coming hard on the Chinese policies regarding Tibet. China, exhibiting excessive sensitivity regarding Tibet and Taiwan, is becoming increasingly insecure. China is using aggressive tactics to prevent the Tibet issue from being brought up on the international level. But the aggression demonstrated by China in selecting the successor for Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama is becoming a target for international criticism.

Tibetan people are raising their voices against this, all around the world. At the same time, moves are being made, even in Tibet, against the Chinese oppression. But the news from Tibet is not being received as China is making inhuman use of its might to prevent any leak of information from Tibet.
