Taliban killed the CIA officials who assassinated Qassem Soleimani by shooting down a US aircraft, claims Iranian news agency

Tehran: Taliban claim that the aircraft that crashed in Afghanistan on Tuesday was from the US and they have shot it down. This aircraft was on an intelligence mission and the CIA officials on board the aircraft were killed. Whereas, the Iranian media are claiming that Michael D’Andrea, the mastermind of the campaign to assassin Qassem Soleimani, was also on board the aircraft and was killed. But the United States has given a verdict that the plane was not shot down by rockets or a missile.

This plane crashed in the region under complete Taliban domination and it was revealed that the 100 people on board were killed in the crash. But the Afghan Arian airlines, who were claimed to be the owners of the plane, clarified that all its airplanes were safe. Thereafter, it was exposed that it was a plane belonging to the United States and the US agencies accepted the claim. The Taliban has claimed that the plane was on a secret mission and senior CIA officials on board the plane were killed.

The United States published information dismissing the claim. The US officials accepted that the plane was on an official mission. But the officials also clarified that the plane was not shot down with a rocket or a missile. The US officials clarified that investigation is on in the matter and the facts will be revealed soon. But the Taliban published the photographs of the remains of the plane even before receiving the clarification. The Afghan reporters also posted photos and information regarding the aircraft on social media.

The issue has got a new dimension because of the claims made in the Iranian media. The United States had killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani attacking Iraq. The orders for this execution were issued by senior CIA official Michael D’Andrea. It is said that Michael D’Andrea is in-charge of all the Iran related campaigns. The Iranian media expressed satisfaction claiming that D’Andrea, also known as Dark Prince and Ayatollah Mike, was killed in this crash.

The news agencies connected with the Iran government departments and they have claimed that the reports have been confirmed even by the Russian intelligence service. But the mystery around the air crash is deepening given the earlier information received and the claims made by the Iranian media. Meanwhile, an official in the Ghazni province informed that the US military took possession of the people killed in the air crash, in the Ghazni province. But the official said that he did not have any further information.
