China assists anti-India terrorists in Myanmar, allege Indian officials

New Delhi: – Terrorists preparing for terror attacks, in the northeastern Indian states, are receiving assistance from China. Indian officials accused that China is chaperoning these terrorists by supplying them with weapons and sheltering them. Although the names of these officials have not been revealed, reports have appeared in the media, forcing China to take cognisance of the issue and reply. Chinese foreign ministry declared that their country does not interfere in other countries.

india-myanmar-chinaThe terrorist organisations United Wa State Army and Arakan Army, active in the India-Myanmar border region are posing a threat to the Indian security. These terrorist organisations are consistently trying to target India, using Myanmar territory. Myanmar government had assured the Indian government that action would be taken against these organisations. But it is being exposed that these terrorist organisations are enjoying Chinese support.

Four leaders of these terrorist organisations are receiving training in terrorist activities, in the Kunming city of China. Out of the four, three are said to be connected to Naga rebel organisations. Retired Chinese military officials are imparting training to these terrorists. Therefore, it is clear that the nurturing and training of these terrorist organisations, planning to target India, is being done by China. In the past, Indian security forces faced the challenge of foiling terrorist plots, by the Pakistan sponsored terrorist outfits, on the western border of the country. Now China is conspiring to create a similar situation on the north eastern border.

China has refuted the accusation levelled by the Indian officials. The Chinese foreign ministry claimed that their country does not interfere in any other country. While saying that China has not supplied weapons to the terrorists, the Chinese foreign ministry said that the country has always demonstrated responsible behaviour while exporting weapons. The foreign ministry also said that China does not supply weapons to any entity, other than sovereign countries.

Meanwhile, it has been exposed, even in the past, that China is conspiring to destabilise the northeastern states. China had provided assistance to ULFA carrying out terrorist activities, in Assam as well as other northeastern states. It has been exposed, many times, that the ULFA leaders are hiding in China. After the Sheikh Hasina government came to power in Bangladesh, this government initiated a strong campaign against these anti-India terrorist organisations. Thereafter, China provided shelter to other terrorist and rebel organisations from the northeastern states, along with ULFA.

The possibility of China making use of these terrorist organisations more aggressively, after igniting the border dispute in Ladakh. The accusations levelled by the Indian officials has this background.
