Iran threatens to launch attacks on Iraq on failing to stop KurdsSix people were killed and 80 injured in the car bomb blast in the Turkish capital of Istanbul on the 13th of November. Turkish agencies held PKK, a local Kurdish organisation, and YPG, the Kurdish group from Syria, responsible for the attack. Turkey also warned to avenge the Istanbul blast by launching attacks in Syria and Iraq on organisations accountable for the blast. PKK, YPG and other Kurdish groups had dismissed Turkey’s accusations. On the other hand, they criticised Turkey for levying false allegations to find an opportunity to target the Kurds. However, with air strikes in Syria and Iraq on Saturday night, Turkey has made it clear that the action against the Kurds will not stop.
