More than 4,000 Coronavirus deaths reported in US; over 50,000 new cases for 10 successive days in UK  

Washington/London: – The uproar created by the Coronavirus pandemic, in the United States, continues and more than 4,000 Coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. It has been observed that the number of cases and deaths are increasing rapidly in California, Florida, Texas and Arizona states. Simultaneously, the World Health Organisation has warned that the Coronavirus pandemic is attaining dangerous proportions in Europe. The number of Coronavirus cases in Europe have crossed 26.3 million and more than 584,000 deaths have been reported. As per the information given by the COVID Tracking Project in the United States, 4033 Coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. This is the highest since the onset of the pandemic. The Coronavirus is spreading more rapidly in the southern US states. The experts from the health sector have warned that the state of Arizona has become the Coronavirus hotspot. Nearly, 10,000 new Coronavirus cases were reported from Arizona state, on Thursday, and nearly 300 people have reportedly died.

The number of Coronavirus cases in the United States has reached 21.7 million and nearly 275,000 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of Coronavirus deaths has reached 365,000. More than a hundred thousand patients are consistently getting admitted to the hospitals, since the last few days. Morgues in California are full and refrigerated trucks are being used to store the dead bodies. Following the United States, the intensity of the pandemic is found to be increasing even in Europe. 52,618 new Coronavirus cases and 1,162 deaths were reported in the United Kingdom, in the last 24 hours. It is being said that the new strain discovered in the United Kingdom in the last year, is responsible for this fast spread. The local administration in London has warned that the Coronavirus pandemic has got out of hands. Only a few days ago, the British experts had warned that the health systems would be under tremendous stress in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation (WHO) warned that the Coronavirus pandemic in Europe is waiting at a dangerous turn. The WHO informed that the new strain discovered in the United Kingdom has spread to 22 European countries. Hans Klug, a senior official from WHO advised that the scope of efforts has to be increased by the European countries, to stop the pandemic. Japan declared an emergency in view of the increasing spread of the Coronavirus and imposed new restrictions.
