Damascus: Fifteen people were killed in the airstrikes launched by the Israeli fighter jets on two Syrian military bases. The Syrian human rights organisation claimed that there were members of Hezbollah, an Iran-affiliated terrorist organisation, among the dead. The Syrian mouthpiece confirmed the reports of the Israeli airstrikes. The Syrian news agency claimed that the Syrian military forced the Israeli fighter jets to retreat by activating the air defence system.
