PM Modi delivers a message to the country to focus on Panchaprana during the Amritkal of Independence

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his speech from Red Fort, has proposed Panchprana (5 pledges) for the citizens for the next 25 years on the Platinum jubilee of Independence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the citizens to adopt these resolutions, which are to make India a developed country, set free from the last trace of slavery mindset, take immense pride in the glorious heritage, strive for unity and diligently perform duties as citizens.

At the same time, the Prime Minister appealed to all not to be content with what has been achieved so far. He encouraged everyone that as India has entered the Amritkal (golden age) of an independent era, the next 25 years will be critical for the country. After 25 years, as India celebrates its 100th anniversary, there should be a clear goal and vision to make India a developed country. Hence for the next 25 years, the Prime Minister has laid out a Panchprana Sankalp to remain focused on our strengths.

Henceforth, the country should set big resolutions before itself. There should be an uncompromising goal to make India a developed country. The Prime Minister urged India to set grand resolutions. Hence the courage and strength needed to achieve the goal would also be equally grand. The Prime Minister pointed out that the country has demonstrated its extraordinary capabilities and performance to the world in the last few years. The Prime Minister proudly pointed out India’s successful fight against the Coronavirus pandemic by administering 200 crore vaccines in a very short time.

In the second resolution, the Prime Minister suggested breaking the shackles of the slavery mindset and that no trace of the slavery mindset should remain in us and not reflect in our thoughts and habits. Speaking about the third resolution, the Prime Minister asserted that we should be proud of our glorious heritage. This legacy had shown India a golden era. We should be proud that Indian heritage can change with time and adapt accordingly.

The Prime Minister informed about the fourth resolution to ensure unity and solidarity among the 130 crore countrymen; one India – a better India should be the goal. The Prime Minister said that being aware of the duty of the citizens is the fifth resolution in the Panchprana Sankalp. The Prime Minister said that even the Prime Minister or the Chief Minister could not be excluded from their duties as citizens.

The Prime Minister said that the whole world is looking toward India with the hope of offering solutions to global challenges. The Prime Minister mentioned that the change in the global perspective of India has changed due to the progress over the last 75 years.
