China may attack Taiwan using bioweapon

Washington: General Charles Flynn, head of US Indo-Pacific Land Forces, warned that China had deployed dangerous ‘Rapid Strike’ and ‘Rocket Forces’ near Taiwan and would attack Taiwan soon. But rather than provoking the US to an all-out war by directly attacking Taiwan, US analysts claim that China will use other options against Taiwan. The US think tanks and analysts have warned that China will use bioweapons against Taiwan to avoid direct military conflict. At the same time, Flynn also claimed that China had blocked the Mekong River water. Flynn said that China has also deployed troops near islands in the Taiwan Strait. Flynn warned that China’s military activities near Taiwan are very dangerous.

But US military analysts have concluded that China may start a war by attacking islands near Taiwan. The Allied invasion of Okinawa and Normandy led to a breakthrough in World War II. This happened in the war from the old times. However, modern-day China would not attack the Penghu or Kinmen islands in its maritime zone to wage war against Taiwan. Besides, with the help of the United States, Taiwan has prepared military preparations for an anti-Chinese conflict. In such a situation, China’s President Xi Jinping is aware that if Taiwan is attacked, he may suffer defeat and lose power to the communist regime. Therefore, two research groups, the Observer Research Foundation and the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses, have warned that China may use bioweapons to gain control over Taiwan. Under China’s ‘2020 Biodefense Law’, the communist regime could use ricin, anthrax and botulinum as bioweapons, US study groups claimed.

At the same time, China can launch a big cyber-attack to bring Taiwan to its knees, warned Jen Easterly, director of the US Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency. These cyber-attacks can attack not only Taiwan but also US infrastructure. Easterly warned while speaking at Carnegie Mellon University. Furthermore, Easterly claimed that US water and gas pipelines, communication and transportation systems could also be targeted.
