Russia deploys combat dolphins in Black Sea to stop Ukraine's attacks in Crimea

Moscow/Kyiv – Russia has decided to deploy combat dolphins to stop the ongoing attacks of Ukraine’s Special Forces on Crimea. There are claims from Russian media that, considering this, Russian President Vladimir Putin had given instructions. President Putin had approved a plan to train dolphins for Russian security forces in the last decade. Besides, dolphins have been trained in speed and natural abilities by combining them with advanced technology. Moreover, Russia says that their deployment will prove difficult for Ukrainian commandos.

Nonetheless, it has now become clear that Ukraine’s counter-offensive launched in June has failed. Along with the Western countries, the Ukrainian agencies and officials also acknowledge this. Ukraine’s military has paid more attention to long-range missiles, drones and terrorist attacks to hide the failure of the counter-offensive. The Russian province bordering Ukraine is targeted, and Crimea has become its main centre.

In addition, it has surfaced over the past few months that Ukraine has attacked Russian bases, warships, weapons factories and naval headquarters in Crimea. For this, speed boats, naval drones and sea divers were used in large numbers. Considering this, Russia has decided to deploy combat dolphins to stop the activities of Ukraine. Besides, combat dolphins are said to be stationed close to the ports of Sevastopol and Novoozerne in Crimea province.

Also, photographs of the deployment of necessary equipment and weapons for patrolling these combat dolphins have surfaced. Now, it is also said that these dolphins have been trained in diverse types like sea patrol, searching and attacking the enemy. The Russian media also claims these dolphins have a higher speed than trained soldiers and can easily foil rivals in the deep sea area.

After the combat dolphins, Russia has also indicated the deployment of fighter aircraft equipped with hypersonic missiles in the Black Sea region. In addition, Russian President Putin has announced that MiG-31 fighter aircraft equipped with hypersonic Kinzhal missiles will patrol the Black Sea. A few days ago, the United Kingdom had indicated the deployment of fighters and warships in the Black Sea.

Apart from this, US drones are continuously patrolling the Black Sea. Russia and the US also claimed tension was created as both of their aircraft came face-to-face. Against this background, the Russian President’s deployment of aircraft equipped with hypersonic missiles in the Black Sea is noteworthy.
