On this, the United States tried to justify by saying that our cooperation with India was of great importance. The discussions between EAM Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Blinken and the joint press conference emphasised the strategic level of cooperation between the two countries. Jaishankar expressed satisfaction that the graph of cooperation between the two countries is increasing.

Jaishankar said that he had discussed the conflict in Ukraine, the consequences of this war, the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, the upheavals in South Asia and the Gulf region with the US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. Jaishankar said that discussions were also held on the ongoing ups and downs across the world at the economic level. Meanwhile, while addressing a joint press conference with the US Secretary of State, Jaishankar made it clear that no one else has the right to determine the quality of India’s democracy. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar seems to have given this warning in response to the remarks being made in the United States about India’s democracy.

Earlier, while addressing the Indian community in the US, Jaishankar had blamed some newspapers in the US for being biased towards India. Those who are trying to determine the direction of India from outside India are currently failing. Jaishankar said they were making a one-sided criticism of India out of the frustration that came out of it.
