Indian Foreign Minister holds talks with foreign ministers of five other countriesJaishankar and US Secretary of States Mike Pompeo held telephonic discussions on Thursday. Thereafter, on the very next day, India held talks with five countries. Jaishankar, in his tweet, said that the discussions with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne, South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-Wha, Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and Brazilian Foreign Minister Ernesto Araújo regarding the Coronavirus issue, were very positive.

Although the discussions were centred around the Coronavirus and the challenges posed by it, the dialogue and cooperation become essential, given the increasing Chinese aggression. While all the countries in the world are busy fighting the Coronavirus menace, Chinese aggression has increased in the South China Sea, and China is making efforts to increase the area of the dominance of the Chinese navy to the Indian Ocean region. China is involved in border disputes with many countries, including India. China has become aggressive to dominate the marine area. In this scenario, all the like-minded countries seem to be uniting against China. This increasing cooperation between these countries on different levels becomes extremely important.
