The South Korean Armed Forces announced that the intruding planes had been hovering for a long time. In this, the South Korean Armed Forces claimed to have shot down a drone belonging to the North Korean Air Force.

The South Korean Armed Forces displayed a North Korean drone in front of the international media. This drone was used for surveillance. The South Korean Army informed that there was no weapon attached to it. It is used for trainee pilots.

The United Nations claimed in its report that this includes drones that launch attacks from surveillance. But the South Korean think tank ‘Korea Institute for National Unification’ warned that North Korea has at least 1,000 drones, if not 300.

Meanwhile, tensions in the Korean region have increased over the past few months. The United States and South Korea have stopped military exercises. In response, North Korea is testing short, medium and long-range missiles. Some of these missiles crashed in South Korea and Japan.
