For the past few weeks, the Russian military has been carrying out heavy drone and missile attacks on major cities, including Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is claimed that these drone attacks have caused massive damage to the infrastructure in Ukraine and disrupted power supply. Ukraine and Western countries accused Russia of using Iranian-made suicide drones for these attacks. The Ukrainian military released photographs of the wreckage of the Iranian drone used in the attack. A former officer of the US intelligence department gave a new warning about this military cooperation between Iran and Russia while talking to the British daily.

The official said that Russia could provide major assistance to Iran, which is providing drones in the conflict in Ukraine. The United States and European Union have imposed sanctions on both Russia and Iran. Therefore, there may be restrictions on Russia in assisting Iran financially. Recognizing this, Russia can help Iran’s nuclear program, the official claimed. The US official pointed out that Russia is already assisting Iran in constructing nuclear projects. A few weeks ago, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also made a similar accusation against Russia.

Meanwhile, Iran has denied Western accusations that it supplied drones to Russia in the Ukraine conflict. Iran reminded just two days ago that even the United States has said there was no concrete evidence about this secret cooperation.
