India will win if a war breaks out - Defence Minister Rajnath SinghThe Defence Minister was speaking at a program organized near a university in Jammu to commemorate the victory of the Kargil war and the martyrs of this war. After the Kargil war, India had decided to establish a joint ‘theater command’ of the three defence forces to increase coordination between the defence forces, the Defence Minister recalled. The country will never forget the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Kargil war and their families. The country will always have a sense of respect for them, the Defence Minister said.

Furthermore, the Defence Minister also said that India can give a befitting reply to those who look at it with crooked eyes. India has the power to protect its people from any foreign power. If there is a war, India will win this war, the Defence Minister added. Since 1947, India has won every war with Pakistan. That is why Pakistan started a proxy war with India. It was Pakistan’s conspiracy to bleed India with a thousand cuts. But our soldiers have time and again shown that no one can challenge India’s integrity, unity and sovereignty, Rajnath Singh said.

Along with this, the Defence Minister expressed his satisfaction by saying that India is becoming an exporter of arms, leaving behind the identity of being the largest importer of arms now. While making these statements about the country’s defence capabilities, the defence minister clarified that the country has the power and desire to get back the land of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, i.e. POK. The Indian Defence Minister mentioned POK and Gilgit-Baltistan in his speech, making Pakistan restless.

For the past few months, leaders in PoK have been openly criticizing Pakistan and supporting India. The leaders in POK are reprimanding Pakistan, asking what has Pakistan done for POK while pointing to the development and investments in Jammu-Kashmir under Indian control. At the same time, there have been reports of protests against the Pakistan Army in some places in POK. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has made Pakistan more insecure in this scenario by mentioning POK in his speech.
