New York: – Eurasia Group predicted that a split United States will be the biggest threat in 2021. It said that a split superpower cannot influence the world as it would in the past. When the most powerful country in the world is split, it spells trouble for everyone.’
Earlier, the US thinktank said that the international community was confident that the United States could stabilise the world in any crisis. But this sole global superpower is facing tremendous internal challenges. The Eurasia Group pointed out that President elects Joe Biden has the difficult responsibility to prove that the United States can tide over its internal challenges and lead the world. ‘A big group of US population is doubtful regarding the presidency, political influence and length of Joe Biden’s tenure. The thinktank also pointed out that at the same time, questions are being raised the future of the republican party in the United States and the overall political system in the country.
