Chinese Communist Regime drafts new authoritarian maritime law

Beijing: – The Chinese Communist Regime, infamous for its expansionist policies, has prepared a draft for new marine legislation. As per the new draft, there will be permitted to demolish foreign constructions, in the maritime territories claimed by China and to use weapons against the foreign ships. It is claimed that China is preparing to dominate these disputed territories, with the help of the new legislation. Vietnam has said that the new legislation is not acceptable to it. Whereas, the possibility of the massive tension being created in the South China Sea has become stronger.

Last week, the Chinese communist regime prepared the draft of the new Coast Guard legislation and has posted it on the website of the Chinese People’s Congress. A decision in the matter is expected to be taken, in the upcoming meeting of the Chinese communist regime, in the next few weeks. The Chinese media have claimed that this will clarify the position of the Chinese Coast Guard, regarding maritime security, implementation of administrative laws, crime detection and international cooperation. The communist regime in China believes that this will help in stopping the foreign constructions and intrusion by the alien ships, in the Chinese marine region.

The accusation that China is trying to gulp down the South and East China Seas, riding on this new legislation, is intensifying more and more. The new legislation allows China to take action against the legitimate constructions made by other countries, declaring them to be unauthorised. The Chinese neighbours are haunted with the fear that after the legislation, China can hold inquiries of the ships patrolling in the South and East China Seas and attack them. Under this law, China had delegated the rights of action, entirely, to the Coast Guard. Therefore, it is being claimed that the Chinese Coast Guard vessels, patrolling in the East and the South China Sea, will pose challenges to the foreign ships.

China’s neighbouring countries have raised objections regarding the new legislation. Vietnamese foreign ministry expressed concerns over the new legislation. The Vietnamese foreign ministry expressed fears that the Chinese Coast Guard can attack, even the Vietnamese ships, patrolling in Vietnam’s marine region, after the law is passed. Whereas, the Japanese analysts have claimed that this new Chinese law poses a challenge to the Japanese destroyers, patrolling in the East and the South China Sea.
