Terror and Drug Trafficker Pakistan should be blacklisted by FATF - Free Balochistan Movement

New Delhi/Islamabad: – Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) has demanded that Financial Action Task Force (FATF) should include Pakistan, who is spreading terrorism and involved in narcotics smuggling, in the Black List.

The FATF meeting is scheduled to be held in the month of October. Pakistan’s future depends on the discussion since the possibility of Pakistan being included in the Black List of FATF is being predicted. In that case, it will be tough for Pakistan to borrow funds from international financial institutions and even other countries. As per analysts, the Pakistan economy will crumble completely in that scenario.

To avert the crisis of inclusion in the FATF Black List, Pakistan is creating a façade of action against the terrorist organisations. Only last week, Pakistan imposed sanctions against 88 terrorists. But the fact is that it has been exposed that 21 terrorists, including Riyaz Bhatkal and Dawood Ibrahim, are receiving VIP treatment in Pakistan. Most of these terrorists feature in the ‘Most Wanted’ list of India. While these reports are surfacing, the demand has been made for Pakistan’s inclusion in the FATF Black List.

This demand has been made by the FBM, which is fighting for an independent Balochistan. FBM said that Pakistan should be included in the FATF Black List for spreading terrorism and its involvement in narcotics smuggling. FBM spokesman said that the Pakistan military is crushing even the peaceful agitations that are being held in the Balochistan, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

Only a few days ago, the Pakistan military had taken action against the peaceful agitations of the Baloch and Sindhi people. Many people had been injured in action. Videos of this action have become viral on social media. The organisation appealed that the FATF should take cognisance of the religious violence in Pakistan and include Pakistan in the Black List. Pakistan military has created an opium corridor near the Balochistan coastline and Afghanistan. The spokesman accused that opium smuggling is being carried out through this corridor.
