44 killed in DR Congo murder case – IS-backed group suspected

DR CongoBeni – 44 people were killed in the massacre of terrorists in Mukondi village of DR Congo in Africa. The army of this country informed that some of them were killed brutally. The concern is being expressed that some village citizens are missing and are also victims of this attack. It is suspected that the terrorist organization ‘Allied Democratic Forces-ADF’, affiliated with ‘IS’, is behind this. The United Nations has issued a warning in the wake of increasing attacks by the ADF in DR Congo.

According to the DR Congo-DRC army, a terrorist attack occurred on Thursday in the village of Mukondi in North Kivu province. In this attack which continued for almost ten hours, the ADF terrorists captured and killed the village locals. At least 44 people were killed in this massacre. The victims included women, children and the elderly. ADF terrorists did not use guns for this attack. Locals say that the villagers were killed with sharp weapons.

Moreover, the terrorists did not stop there; they trapped some villagers inside their houses and set them on fire. A few years ago, ISIS terrorists set fire to the houses of innocent villagers in Syria and Iraq, to kill innocent villagers. It is claimed that the ADF did the same experiment on the villagers of Mukondi. Information is coming out that some villagers are still missing. Mukondi village has been under the control of the DRC military for the past few years. Efforts are being made to establish order in this village. But local media say the ADF attacks have terrorized the village of Mukondi.

Furthermore, ISIS-affiliated ‘ADF’ terrorists often use sharp weapons instead of guns to attack villages in the DRC. This has created a lot of fear of this organization in the border villages of the DRC and Yuga. The DRC’s military had planned military operations to quell the ADF’s terror. But so far, the DRC army has not succeeded in this.

Like other African countries, the power struggle has flared up in the DRC. Over the past few decades, more than 120 armed groups in the DRC have been fighting for power, influence, and natural mineral resources. ADF, a terrorist organization affiliated with ‘IS’, is said to have the highest level of terror in the DRC.

Meanwhile, the terror of this organization has spread to neighbouring Uganda along with DRC. In 2013, more than 6,000 people were killed in attacks by the ADF in the DRC. The ADF is trying to dominate the provinces of North Kivu and Ituri in the DRC. Both these provinces are claimed to have large mineral wealth.
