275 Indians evacuated from Coronavirus-hit Iran

New Delhi: On Sunday, 275 Indian citizens trapped in Iran were brought back to the country. They were screened at Rajasthan’s Jodhpur airport. Also, all of them were placed under quarantine at the Indian Army’s wellness centre at Jodhpur.

275 Indians evacuated from Coronavirus-hit IranThe new Coronavirus is ravaging Iran. Currently, more than 35,000 cases of Coronavirus have been reported, and the number of deaths has crossed 2,000. Amid the crisis, India was taking tremendous efforts to bring their citizens, stranded in Iran, back home. On Sunday, 275 Indians were repatriated from Iran, which included 142 males and 133 females.

Previously, 277 Indians were repatriated from Iran, all of whom are under the supervision of the Indian army as well.
