Eight deaths in the country in the last 24 hours

New Delhi/Mumbai: – The Coronavirus epidemic claimed eight lives in the country over the previous 24 hours. This takes the total number of deaths, due to coronavirus, to 28. The number of coronavirus cases in the country has now crossed 1,000. Two patients died in the state of Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, and the number of cases in the state has reached 203.

Serious concerns are being expressed that the pandemic will attain dangerous proportions in the next few days. Experts have warned that indications regarding this are already being received and if the people do not follow the rules of the lockdown, the country will have to face serious consequences. The Prime Minister, while addressing the citizens, expressed regret for the inconvenience caused because of the lockdown, but at the same time emphasised that this is the only alternative.

106 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours around the country. 2 people died on Sunday in Maharashtra. These include a 40-year-old woman from Mumbai and a 45-year-old person from Buldhana. 22 new cases were reported in the state. The first case was reported from Nashik. It has been revealed that a young girl has contracted coronavirus in Sangli. This takes the number of coronavirus cases to 24 in Sangli.

Meanwhile, as the number of coronavirus cases is increasing in the country, 96 patients have recovered from the disease. This brings a major respite in the current panic situation. 35 patients have been cured in Maharashtra.
