The conflict between the Palestinians and Israel has been going on for the past seven decades. Under the leadership of Yasser Arafat, the Fatah party raised the issue of an independent Palestine on the international level. But Hamas, formed in 1987 under the influence of the radical organization Muslim Brotherhood, expanded its influence in Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Meanwhile, Arafat’s Fatah party continued diplomatic negotiations with Israel on the issue of dual nationalism. But from the very beginning, the extremist and very aggressive Hamas denied the existence of Israel and announced the annihilation of Israel.

As a result, the supporters of Hamas began to increase and this organization began to receive financial and military support from Arab-Islamic countries. On the strength of this, Hamas launched an armed conflict against Israel and also carried out suicide attacks in Israel. After this, Israel and the United States declared Hamas a terrorist organization and imposed sanctions. In 2006, Hamas ousted the Fatah party from the Gaza Strip and took control of the territory. Since then, Gaza has been fully under Hamas’ control.

It has been 35 years since the establishment of this terrorist organization and on this occasion, Hamas organized a big event in Gaza. Speaking in this, the head of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, claimed that a major conflict with Israel will break out in 2023. But Hamas is not alone in this conflict; Sinwar warned that anti-Israel groups in the West Bank would also participate. At the same time, the head of Hamas also threatened Israel on the Al Aqsa prayer site in Jerusalem.

Sinwar threatened, ‘For now, Hamas has refrained from taking action against Israel. Nevertheless, Hamas is preparing for the upcoming conflict. Therefore, this peace is a preparation for the conflict. Whenever we open our mouths, our guns will fire.’ At this time, the flags of countries supporting Hamas were displayed on the stage where Sinwar was standing. In this, Iran, Egypt, and Algeria flags were in the forefront.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah party have lost popularity in the West Bank and have been replaced by Hamas. The Israeli authorities claimed this alarming matter was revealed by the demonstrations and attacks against Israel in the West Bank over the last year.

Meanwhile, until now, Hamas terrorists have been launching attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip. However, if efforts are not made in time to end Hamas’ influence in the West Bank, attacks will start on Israel from Gaza and the West Bank.
