So far, we have witnessed solid strategic cooperation between the UAE and the United States. But the US Ambassador to the UAE, Yousef Al Otaiba, has admitted that their relations have festered currently. Ambassador Otaiba has also indicated that cooperation between the United States and the UAE has been affected by the Yemen conflict, the Iran nuclear deal and the ban on arms purchases.

Over the last year, US public representatives have been consistently indicating that UAE, Saudi Arabia and other Arab allies have lost faith in the United States due to Biden administration’s policies.
