The Turkish newspaper ‘Hurriyet Daily’ carried this report. Besides, Israeli President Isaac Herzog will visit Turkey next month. Hence, Turkey has made significant changes to its radical stance against Israel before that. In 2018, President Erdogan had recalled the Turkish Ambassador from Israel. President Erdogan had appealed to all the Islamic countries to unitedly launch an attack on Israel during the Organisation of Islamic Countries meeting held in Istanbul.

Earlier, Erdogan referred to Israel as a terrorist country and threatened Jerusalem as the Red Line for Turkey. Erdogan had announced to invade Israel with tanks and overthrow the government there. Last year, until May, Turkey issued threats to attack Israel. But in the last few months, President Erdogan himself has been taking the initiative to reconcile with Israel.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog is scheduled to visit Turkey in the next month. Turkish President Erdogan has welcomed the development. President Erdogan expressed confidence that this visit would prove beneficial for the relations between the two countries. But as per the reports, the Turkish President is preparing to expel Hamas leaders from the country before the Israeli President’s visit. President Erdogan has prepared the list of Hamas terrorists in the country and has instructed that only people affiliated with the political wing of Hamas will be allowed to stay in the country. A Turkish daily exposed this information.

Furthermore, President Erdogan is a Hamas supporter. He had criticised Israel‘s actions in the Gaza Strip in the past. He had met Hamas leaders Khaled Meshal and Ismail Haniya. But the Israeli media claim that the boycott at the international level and the jolts in the economy have forced President Erdogan to change his stand.

A few days ago, the Turkish secret agency jointly carried out an operation with Israeli intelligence agency Mossad in Turkey and arrested Iranian agents, sleepers, and cell terrorists. The Turkish agencies claimed that these terrorists were plotting to kill an Israeli professional in Turkey.

Meanwhile, it is being claimed that President Erdogan may expel leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood from Turkey, along with the Hamas leaders. As per some media, the Turkish President may take this step to appease the Arab countries.
