El Paso: The Texas administration has declared an emergency at the US-Mexico border because of the immigrant influx. The administration is seeking assistance from the security agencies saying that the safety of the local population cannot be ensured despite the emergency. The restrictions imposed by the US court in view of the Corona pandemic on immigrants will be revoked on Wednesday. The local administration, alerted by this development, has made the announcement.
The problems faced by the US agencies have aggravated following the opening of the US borders for immigrants by President Joe Biden. The Democratic Party dominates the state of Texas. Despite this, Al Paso mayor, Oscar Lizer, clarified that the imposition of emergency was mandatory to stop the immigrant influx. Lizer has acknowledged that it is becoming difficult to make necessary arrangements to accommodate these immigrants. At the same time, Lizer has raised the issue of the security of locals and immigrants.
