Russia threatens United Kingdom of severe consequences if it provides

Moscow/ London: Russia has threatened that if United Kingdom initiates steps against Russia, then it knows how to respond. The United Kingdom has initiated movements to supply fighter jets to Ukraine. During Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent Europe visit, the United Kingdom, Germany and France also gave positive signals about the fighter jets. Against this backdrop, Russia has threatened the United Kingdom.

‘Zelensky, the comedian in the green sweatshirt, is begging for arms in Europe. The Ukrainian regime pretended that Ukraine needed weapons to defend itself. Suppose the United Kingdom supplied Ukraine with fighter jets and other advanced weapons. In that case, they should be aware that the United Kingdom will be responsible for the escalation of war, bloodier conflict, increased casualties and military and political consequences for Europe,’ the Russian embassy threatened the United Kingdom. The Russian Embassy further warned that Russia knows how to respond to the steps taken against it.

Furthermore, Ukraine has asked the United States and European countries for fighter jets, more advanced missiles and tanks to counter a possible new invasion by Russia. The Western countries have agreed to the demand for the tanks and movements have started for its supply. However, the United States and some countries have shown opposition to the issue of fighter planes. Despite this, Zelensky has made this demand.

Meanwhile, analysts are constantly pointing out that if Ukraine gets advanced fighter jets, the nature of the Russia-Ukraine conflict may change and European countries will have to bear the consequences. But still, countries like the United Kingdom have assumed stance that Ukraine needs to be supplied with more advanced weapons. Against this backdrop, the threat issued by the Russian Embassy is noteworthy.
