Niamey: The ‘ECOWAS’ organisation of the West African countries had claimed to be fully prepared for military action by landing troops in Niger. ‘However, infiltrating and attacking Niger will not be as easy as a walk in the park. Some people are of this opinion. But, their belief will prove to be an illusion, warned General Abdurrahman Tchiani, who led the military rebellion in Niger.

Moreover, the Niger people and the National Council representing the people have no desire to start a war and are always ready to communicate and negotiate. General Tchiani has said that Niger intends to resolve this issue through dialogue. However, if someone tries to enter Niger and take military action, he will be responded strongly, warned General Tchiani.
